Media Montage Podcast 117: It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Max World

This week Bruce and Larry take a visit the World of Mad Max. They look at all four films featuring the Road Warrior Max Rockatansky.

They explore the themes of a world gone mad, a world clinging to the last vestiges of civilization, a world where the Halls of Justice are literally decaying.   They look at parallels to 70s Horror, the idea of enduring myths and legends, the power of stories, as well as unreliable narrators.

When does Fury Road take place on Max's time line?  Will we get more Mad Max in the future, and what will that mean?  All that and more in Episode 117 of the Media Montage Podcast! It's a Mad Mad Mad Max World!

We look at post-apocalyptic pop culture on Episode 46 of the Media Montage Podcast.
